New procedure - client information

* Cancellation Policy * 

If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment time, you will be required to pay 50% of the appointment fee.

Firstly, if you are feeling unwell please postpone your appointment. Please keep in mind that as this is a close contact service I must keep my more vulnerable clients safe as well as myself. I would really appreciate your co-operation with this.

If you are a first‐time client, your initial consultation will take place via an online form. If you are an existing client I ask that you confirm whether or not there are any changes to your consultation form prior to your appointment. I kindly request that you ensure that I am informed about any health conditions which may affect your treatment.

Please do not book a foot treatment if you have a verruca, athlete's foot, fungal nail infection or any other contagious condition. Please do not book a massage if you have contagious skin conditions or if you have recently returned from a warm holiday and have burnt/peeling skin. If you are attending for Hopi ear candles, please ensure that you do not use any ear drops, oil or flammable hair products for at least 48 hours prior to your treatment. Pregnancy massage treatments are available for those who are over 12 weeks.

Please arrive at your allocated appointment time. If you do arrive early, please note that the door may be locked if I am with another client, or I will ask you to wait in another room until the therapy area is ready. 

If you arrive late for your appointment your treatment may be cut short so that the next client is not kept waiting. If you are more than 10 minutes late and have not contacted me, the appointment may be cancelled.

If you book directly with me, you will receive a text or email from Fresha, this is the booking system that I use, you will be asked to enter your card details which is only to confirm that you agree to the cancellation policy. Payment will only be taken if you don't show up to the appointment or if you cancel within 48 hours of the appointment time. 

Please note that the treatment time includes any consultation and aftercare advice.

Payment is preferred via BACS or by cash, although contactless payment is available if it is not possible for you to pay any other way.

There is a small well-being gift shop available in the therapy room which stocks pillow sprays, candles, bath soaks and crystal jewellery. There are also gift certificates available upon request. The gift certificates are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

The Holistic Hideaway is based at Swadlincote Chiropractic Clinic, 6 Hill Street, DE11 8HL. There is a small car park on Hill street or you can park on the road. If there is no space on Hill Street I would advise you to park at Morrisons where you get 3 hours free parking.
