PHILOSOPHY
The Holistic Hideaway is a relaxing, peaceful place for you to escape the stress of every day life.
I am a fully qualified reflexologist and massage therapist and I pride myself in providing the best possible treatments for my clients by helping you to achieve complete health and well-being.
With a wide range of treatments available, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, holistic facials, Thai foot massage, Reiki, bespoke packages and many more.
I provide treatments to help with stress reduction, relaxation and pain relief. I also specialise in providing treatments for women who are experiencing peri and menopausal symptoms. Please contact me for further information.
If you require a treatment that I am unable to provide, I will refer you to another highly qualified therapist.
All of the products used are of excellent quality, natural and organic and I can use vegan friendly products when required.
The Holistic Hideaway is based at Swadlincote Chiropractic and Well-being clinic on Hill Street. I also offer a mobile service for a number of holiday locations including Peakes Retreats and Colliery Lane Lodges. If you own a B&B, holiday let or glamping site and would be interested in offering therapies to your guests, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.

Swedish Massage
This treatment focuses on relieving muscle tension and reducing pain. The treatment will be tailored to suit each individual, whether you need deep tissue, knot release or pure relaxation.
Treatments range from 40 minutes for a back massage up to 90 minutes for full body, which includes legs, feet, arms, decollete, back, face and scalp This massage is excellent for improving circulation, relieving pain, tension and reducing stress and anxiety.
Hot stone massage is also available where you receive the added benefit of the heat penetrating deep into the muscles, relieving stress and easing muscle tension and pain.
Indian head massage
An ancient therapeutic treatment which has been used for thousands of years. Great for stress relief, relaxation, improved circulation and skin condition and relieving headaches. This massage stimulates the release of endorphins which helps to relieve pain and elevate mood.
During the treatment, you will be leaning forward into a massage chair. You will receive an upper back, shoulder and neck massage followed by a scalp massage. The 60 minute massage includes a facial massage.
Holistic facial
You can choose the 40 or 60 minute holistic facial which includes a cleanse, tone, exfoliation, massage, mask, miosture treatment and refreshing facial spritz,

A Rejuvenation Ritual facial massage which is an incredibly relaxing treatment leaving the skin feeling fresh and youthful, giving your skin a natural lift.
Or
The Gua Sha facial
A traditional Chinese technique used to maintain youthful skin, promoting
blood circulation to smooth puffiness and fine lines as well as to
promote lymphatic drainage. In addition to reducing
large pores, soothing dark circles and giving a fresh complexion.
Thermal auricular therapy
Also known as hopi candles, this is a gentle and non-invasive treatment which can help to reduce the symptoms of tinnitus, sinusitis, headaches and hay-fever as well as loosening compacted ear wax.
This treatment includes a relaxing facial massage which uses acupressure techniques and focuses on relieving sinus problems and headaches, leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Reflexology
Reflexology uses gentle pressure on various reflex areas on the feet. It encourages a deep state of relaxation which in turn activates the body's healing process. The benefits of this treatment include boosting the immune system, calming the mind, pain relief, improved circulation and improved functioning of the lymphatic and digestive system.
This non-invasive treatment helps to maintain the delicate balance of all systems of the body.
I now provide a specialist treatment for women going through peri and menopausal symptoms.
Pregnancy massage
A very relaxing massage tailored especially for pregnancy. Using the special comfy client cushion to position you safely on your side, we will focus on any areas of discomfort to relieve pain and tension using techniques especially adapted for pregnancy. This treatment is also perfect if you need pure relaxation. This treatment includes techniques which can be used by your birthing partner during labour. It will be tailored to suit your individual needs and requirements with varying lengths available.
Thai foot massage
This is a deeply relaxing massage using Thai techniques which date back at least two thousand years. This is a deep and rejuvenating foot and lower leg massage, which improves circulation and flexibility, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed with a sense of calm and well-being. This treatment can help to improve the symptoms of arthritis, plantar fasciitis and aching legs. Definitely one of the treatments worth trying. You can add on an optional foot bath and exfoliation if you wish.
Reiki
A wonderful non-invasive energy healing treatment which can help to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and heart rate, reduce pain, calm anxiety and it can help to aid a restful sleep, reducing insomnia. This treatment will leave you feeling extremely relaxed.
You also have the option to add a meditation onto this treatment which can really help you to reach a deep state of relaxation.
A taster treatment is also available and this can be added onto bespoke packages.
